WonderRoot: Season 05

WonderRoot is a non-profit organization based in Atlanta, GA. WonderRoot fosters an environment for the fine arts spanning from painting to dance to creative writing. Community Supported Artists (CSA), is a program WonderRoot started for emerging artists and for art collectors, first time or seasoned, in the greater Atlanta community. Each 'Season' consists of 6 artists that are selected through a jury process to make 30 works of art per artist. The work is distributed through shares bought by the public which ensures them 1 work from each artist. This also provides the artist with a stipend and supports the non-profit as well. For 3 months, WonderRoot puts on 'Art Pick-up Parties,' where the showing artists speak about the 30 works and get to mingle with the collectors. I was honored to be a part of Season 05 in early 2015.
